Really a marvel of genre mashup with a strong world and gameplay. The score is incredible, the challenge can be catered to any players needs. My issues with it are minor enough that I don't even feel the need to be specific with it.
While having a fairly brutal difficulty in the opening hours, the way the game rewards exploration made it even more difficult to put down. Finding new trinkets that eased some of the parts I found more difficult (particularly a floaty that gives you a safety bounce over pits) helped me
It's almost perfect, if there was a map or conversation log it would be the best game not only this year, but one of the best of all time. It's still really fun, lots of exploration, plenty of challenge, and its only $20
