Sand: Raiders of Sophia Delayed Day Before Launch, Now Will Be Early Access | TechRaptor

Sand: Raiders of Sophia, the build your own giant fortress mech that travels about the desert battling foes, has received a delay only a day before it was set to be released.

It's not like the Sand: Raiders of Sophia release date was a longstanding affair either - instead it had been announced on Friday, at Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest, with a server slam available right then for people to try. The original June 10th release date was still being shared as of yesterday on Steam, even as the server slam revealed that there were cascading issues that happened when servers crossed 4k users per region.

According to their new announcement, the new release date for Sand: Raiders of Sophia is June 22nd. They are examining all their server slam logs and attempting to fix a variety of bugs and structural issues that showed up form the issues, before hosting another Sand: Raiders of Sophia server slam on June 15th, which hopefully won't reveal more cascading structural issues or bugs.
