Technical brilliance, narrative emptiness. A beautiful but soulless cash-grab. The Illusion of Realism Fails: The protagonist's behavior is downright infuriating, lacking basic logic and common sense. Instead of tactical execution expected from a federal agent, she panics like a random pizza delivery person caught in a bad situation. Defying the Laws of Physics: Basic tasks contradict common sense. Forcing the player to saw through a heavy metal deadbolt with a chainsaw instead of cutting the flimsy wooden frame around it is a lazy shortcut that could have been fixed on paper for free. Amateur-Hour Attention to Detail: The model viewer kills any remaining horror atmosphere with a misplaced joke. A background zombie with a grotesque, maxed-out smirk - identical to the Gman memes from Garry's Mod - exposes a total lack of quality control. Capcom is merely coasting on brand inertia and nostalgia. They learned how to polish graphics but forgot how to respect their audience. I am forcing myself to finish it, but my trust in this franchise is permanently gone.
