Roadwarden’s contained world offers a lot of entertainment to those who take the time to explore (and re-explore) every nook and cranny.

So, maybe Garten of Banban 0 isn’t the best place to start. I’d recommend this odd outing to series fans who would benefit from an origin story for these quirky characters. It delivers chills in its short runtime, and it comes at a cheap price, so fans might find enjoyment. The basic graphics and subpar control scheme, along with a lack of clear direction at times, make it a little more frustrating than fun for someone not invested.

While Slay the Princess – The Pristine Cut is not a particularly long or complex game, it utilises everything in its arsenal incredibly well. It is packed with finely designed details which build into a wonderfully compelling game that makes excellent use of its tortuous pathways to make you feel as if your choices make a genuine impact.

Overall, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley provides a relaxing adventure full of charm. There’s something unique about this one; the storybook approach coupled with a musical slant and wrapped in an environmental message feels special. It may not be a long game, but it’s thoroughly enjoyable while it lasts.

Oct 31, 2023

Overall, Sunshine Manor is a uniquely spine-tingling title that scratches that Halloween itch with cartoony gore. The terrific visuals and excellent soundtrack, not to mention the ghostly plot of exploration, create a creepy-yet-fun vibe just in time for Halloween.

Teslagrad 2 builds on already interesting mechanics to suit a beautiful new setting in a way that definitely pays off – and looks gorgeous doing it.

Overall, Caverns of Mars Recharged is a fun reimagining of 1981 Atari classic. Rather than a rehash or a simple port, a lot of effort has been put into extending the original premise and giving players more to do. This score-chaser is likely to provide arcade fans with an addictive and engaging time despite some minor interface flaws.

Despite a fun premise overall, SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off is tough to recommend. Apart from its high price tag, it also lacks the touchscreen controls that made the original so fun. It’s missing some of the heart of the series, which could have been addressed with some simple audio cues. I actually enjoyed my time with this game, but it would be a better purchase if picked up on sale. A big sale.

Duck Souls+ is simple, but it excels at what it does. It’s inexpensive and adorable. There are few key ingredients that it takes to make a good platformer and Duck Souls+ has them all.

Fernz Gate is a fun RPG. While there's a lot to learn with the mechanics, I think this is a game anyone can pick, play, and enjoy.

I've purchased this game on every console I own, and happily purchased it again. No sour grapes here either, never has this game felt more at home than when playing on a Joy-Con.

With a lot of similarly styled games on the market right now, the vastness and the creativity of Chasm makes for a really fun take on a popular theme.

The story is fantastically tropey when it comes to the post-apocalyptic genre, which is admittedly getting a bit over-saturated in the contemporary pop culture market. But it is still a lot of fun and the thirty year anniversary of the inspiration behind it is definitely worth celebrating.

1 / 10.0 - Saborus
Mar 11, 2026

The idea behind this game had the potential to be an important game with a genuine message made accessible and engaging, but it undermines its own premise with weird humour, awkward gameplay and far too many sloppy details. It's clear Saborus was incredibly lazily made.

I find Gallic Wars: Battle Simulator more of a proof of concept than an actual game. There are so many far superior options in the tactics category that this game is even a waste of time for beginners.
