Pokémon Scarlet and Violet jump between future and past, like their cover monsters. A freely explorable Open World but unable to performing well and killing all the new good ideas. It's a classic from Game Freak, a place where every step forward is followed by some steps backward. And maybe is not enough anymore, it's time to force the best-selling franchise in the world to grow up.

6.5 / 10.0 - Lost Soul Aside
Sep 5, 2025

Lost Soul Aside shows it's Ultizero Games' debut, with some evident rookie mistakes. A promising battle system sadly gets lost amid the rest of the underwhelming production.

The Last Hero of Nostalgaia is the Dark-Soulest of all Soulslikes. The idea of using lore as a game mechanic is interesting, but in the end maybe too easily applied on the experience. Overall Nostalgaia is a Dark Souls child with no regrets about it, but with some over-simplification and some battle-related issues.

7 / 10.0 - High on Life 2
Mar 2, 2026

Metacritic: High on Life 2 tries to be more of a videogame than High on Life ever was - and to be fair, it actually succeeds. The problem is that nobody really asked for that, especially since, when you strip it down, it's still an average shooter that in this second iteration loses much of the meta‑ironic charge that defined the first game

7.5 / 10.0 - Shadow Labyrinth
Jul 17, 2025

Shadow Labyrinth takes Pac-Man in some strange places, but often too poorly designed to really enjoy the brilliant idea behind an anyway good metroidvania.

7.5 / 10.0 - SCHiM
Jul 15, 2024

SCHiM tells a story that could happen to us. Bad luck, boring stuff, the need to go on and find out you can manage it somehow. Sometime SCHiM lose itself and become repetitive, but it's part of this experience we call life.

We Were Here Forever is essentially a Non-Fungible-Escape Room. Playing with a friend means trying to explain what is happening to you, while at the same time you have to deduce from his (or her) words hints and clues that might help you find your freedom. Words are your only weapon, and your only way out, so make sure you play this with the right person (or the wrong one, for potentially hilarious outcomes).

7.7 / 10.0 - Pokemon Champions
Apr 16, 2026

Pokémon Champions is, all things considered, exactly what you'd expect - give or take a few too many rough edges. In fact, looking at the game's monetization and other titles in the Pokémon ecosystem, you could almost say we got off easy. At least, for now.

8 / 10.0 - Loot River
May 3, 2022

Loot River is Dark Souls meets roguelike meets Tetris. It's simple (it's banal), but the only description that fits the game is this one

FORECLOSED is a musical cover of Max Payne played by someone with no fear to add and changes some chords

Tradition, pride, honor. The game starts with this words and is clear their matrix: not the historically accurate Samurai, but the Kurosawa's ones. Kurosawa ispired the western genre and so it's fair that the Far West came back to East.

8 / 10.0 - Invincible VS
May 1, 2026

Over-the-top violence? Check. Iconic memes from the original series? Check. A solid battle system that cleverly borrows the best ideas around to deliver something uniquely its own? Double check. Honestly, there are very few reasons not to jump on board.

Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are coming to Switch (and Switch 2) without major extra content compared to the originals, but with graphical improvements above expectations.

8 / 10.0 - Wheel World
Jul 23, 2025

Wheel World is a sort of cozy cycling open world that's impossible not to fall in love with, even considering some minor bugs and some not-so-polished aspects.

8 / 10.0 - Haste

Haste: Broken Worlds is the answer to the question "what would happen if Sonic the Hedgehog had sex with Tiny Wings"? And the answer is a must play arcade/roguelike game.

8 / 10.0 - Wanderstop
Mar 19, 2025

Wanderstop is a game about espaping the characters people project on us, finding a way out to our freedom. Freedom to be who we are, to let down expectations we never wanted. Sometimes life it'is only about slowing down and making some tea.

Sniper Elite: Resistance is a solid "more of the same" of the fifth chapter, or a "Hitman with a sniper rifle" for the ones not used to the series. And it feels good.

From the today's Konami you would expect a lazy port of the HD Collection and of the original Metal Gear Solid. But in Tokyo someone still love the series, and this first of volume of the Master Collection really shows some heart in reselling three masterpieces of the video games history and a bunch of the 2D chapters (including Snake's Revenge).

8 / 10.0 - Sea of Stars
Sep 4, 2023

Sea of Stars is a Vergil for all the Dantes that want to explore the Hell and the Heavens of JRPG. Sabotage Studio learned from the genre's master, but took away the boring grinding part giving life to something very catchy to play.

One Thousand and One Deaths. A loop of stories told until you lost your mind. Selene's diaries became Sherazade's tales, the ending delayed until the next day, the next loop.
