Unscored - Thick As Thieves
May 29, 2026

Thick as Thieves is a video game that’s hard to recommend, but also hard to simply dismiss. It has few maps, inconsistent AI, fairly familiar mechanics, and a constant sense of being a cut-down or repurposed product. However, it also has something important: it can be fun. Once you accept its limitations, it offers tense and satisfying moments.

I Hate This Place is a visually appealing video game based on a very attractive idea, but its execution is full of decisions that are difficult to justify. The lack of explanations, the imbalances in its survival approach, clunky combat, and a poorly crafted narrative make the experience suffer from start to finish.

Unscored - DuneCrawl
Jan 12, 2026

DuneCrawl is a cooperative game with an appealing concept and genuinely entertaining moments, especially when chaos ensues alongside another player, but it suffers from limited execution and several clear imbalances. The gameplay is basic, and playing solo is nearly impossible due to the difficulty of the enemies. It won't change your life, but it offers enough to enjoy with friends, and I had a good time.

Unscored - Possessor(s)
Nov 25, 2025

Possessor(s) is a Metroidvania with a powerful setting, but its ideas never quite come together. Its post-apocalyptic world and the relationship between Luca and Rehm are interesting, but the game is weighed down by a map design that lacks variety, imprecise controls, unfulfilling exploration, and combat that falls short. It's a title for those who never miss a Metroidvania.

Unscored - NASCAR 25
Nov 25, 2025

NASCAR 25 is a competent simcade that delivers as an official game, with surprisingly good AI and a Career mode with interesting ideas, but it falls short of the realism of iRacing. Its handling is accessible and enjoyable, although uneven on Road. Performance issues on PC, some missing content, a very poor setting, and disappointing online play prevent it from standing out more.

Unscored - Neon Blood
Dec 3, 2024

Neon Blood enters through the eyes, thanks to its outstanding visuals. However, the puzzles and the story are not at the same level, and the game lacks consistency. The setting is brilliant and you can spend 4-5 hours entertaining, but there are elements that could be improved.

Metal Slug Tactics is a curious video game, which brings the roguelike to tactical strategy games with turn-based combat. The gameplay in the battles shines, but the roguelike section has not convinced me. Even so, it is a fantastic adaptation of the saga to a new genre and that opens many possibilities.

Unscored - Formula Legends
Sep 23, 2025

Formula Legends is a driving arcade game that works well as a tribute to F1, but it has drawbacks that weigh down the experience. Its control issues, inconsistent AI, and some technical glitches weigh too heavily on the experience. It's a charming title, but it needs polishing to reach the podium.

Arizona Sunshine Remake delivers and little more. It takes the best of the sequel, the gunplay and graphics, and applies it directly to create the remake. The level design, which is what most needed to be improved, remains intact. Something to note is that it is a complete edition with the base game and all the DLCs. It's good, but it falls short by today's VR standards.

Ruffy and the Riverside is an original adventure that stands out for its texture copying mechanics, but it fails to shine due to several details that weigh down the experience. Although its approach is varied and creative, the excessive presence of puzzles compared to platforming, a very poor Spanish translation, and an unattractive interface detract from the overall experience.

Jun 4, 2026

Phonopolis is another little gem from Amanita Design: a short, beautiful, and very special adventure that wins you over more with its personality, humor, and world than with the complexity of its puzzles. It’s unique and captivating, and above all, it knows how to genuinely entertain you throughout the entire journey.

LumenTale: Memories of Trey is one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve come across in the creature-collecting RPG genre. It has personality, a vast world that rewards exploration, challenging combat, and plenty of original ideas. It’s not perfect: the menus could be improved, some mechanics aren’t explained well, performance is inconsistent, and there are bugs. But even so, it’s a special game.

Jun 2, 2026

007 First Light comes highly recommended because it successfully brings the essence of James Bond back to the world of video games with a game that perfectly captures the character. It’s not a perfect title that seeks to reinvent the genre, but it does offer a very solid, well-designed adventure with plenty of personality. I can assure you that we are witnessing the return of the legendary MI6 agent.

LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight's Legacy is highly recommended because it's the most ambitious project TT Games has ever undertaken within the LEGO franchise. Their reinterpretation of the Batman universe is admirable; it's a true love letter to the Dark Knight. All of this comes together to make for a fun game to play, always with the studio's signature sense of humor. If you’re a Batman fan, this game is made by and for you.

ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies is a dense, bizarre, and visceral espionage adventure featuring fantastic writing, memorable missions, and a slightly more manageable pace than Disco Elysium. It’s not all perfect: there are bugs, the start can feel chaotic, and the true impact of some decisions takes too long to become apparent. That said, it’s one of the most interesting narrative RPGs of the year.

May 13, 2026

Elementallis has a deep understanding of what made the classic 2D Zelda games so special: open-world exploration, dungeons, secrets, puzzles, skill-based progression, and a world that rewards curiosity. It doesn’t reinvent the formula, but it executes it masterfully and adds its own unique flair through the use of the elements. Its biggest drawback is an uninspired final stretch, but it’s still well worth playing.

Recommended - Saros
May 7, 2026

SAROS is recommended because it’s a step up from Housemarque’s previous title. The experience is much more polished, especially in terms of its progression system and accessibility, yet it doesn’t lose any of its intensity. It’s not a perfect game, but it knows exactly what it wants to offer and how to keep you hooked for hours.

May 6, 2026

Bus Bound isn't the ultimate bus simulator, but it is one of the most compelling ones I've played in recent years. It focuses almost entirely on driving, and it does that well, but it's true that it lacks more layers of management, more feedback, more real variety among the buses, and smoother performance. Still, it works, it's entertaining, and it can keep you hooked for hours.

Demon Lord: Just a Block is a very pleasant surprise in the roguelite genre. It takes a gameplay concept and runs with it: enemies only move when you do. That makes every run an experience that can be fast-paced, chaotic, and straightforward, or more measured and strategic, depending on how you choose to play. It’s simple, straightforward, and perfect for a quick game.

Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes captivates with its oppressive atmosphere, a profound sense of helplessness, and a fear that stems from feeling small in the face of a gigantic, hostile world. Virtual reality greatly amplifies these sensations and creates some truly harrowing moments, though the game falls a bit short when it comes to VR-specific interactions.
