8.5 / 10.0 - Constance
May 1, 2026

Constance is a Metroidvania that blends, like few other 2D platformers, a good and reflective story with excellent gameplay. Although there isn't a dedicated version for the Nintendo Switch 2, the development team included the option for console owners to choose different rendering modes, which alter the resolution and framerate. This allows for optimal performance on both consoles.

9 / 10.0 - MULLET MADJACK
Apr 30, 2026

Mullet Madjack is PURE DOPAMINE: a fun and addictive game like few others, but which at the same time conveys a super relevant and current message. Its creative visuals, with captivating and incredibly addictive gameplay, transform Jack's adventure into an instant indie classic, as well as, of course, one of the greatest examples that Brazil has gigantic potential for game development.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is chaotic, unpredictable, crazy, and absolutely fun. It's a game that stimulates creativity, offering everything the player needs to build their own island and enjoy every second without having to rush to finish everything at once.

7.5 / 10.0 - Opus: Prism Peak
Apr 29, 2026

Despite recommending the experience, I have several reservations. Even though these points are common in the market, I believe there's an artistic tradition that should raise the bar for quality. The title intrigued me during the experience, but now I'm looking forward to a new game from the team that goes further, breaking free from a self-explanatory need that condescends to the player instead of provoking and challenging them.

Mouse: P.I. for Hire completely captivated me. The game is fun and addictive, the kind where you play and barely notice the time passing, or only stop because you really need to do something else. The noir theme, the cartoonish visuals, the mystery story, and the frenetic action together create a delightful experience.

If you want to satisfy your nostalgia with this collection that costs more than R$100.00, or if you want to satisfy it by opening the Neopets website and creating a new account, it all depends on you. Because despite everything, I didn't regret playing the Mega Mini Games Collection.

10 / 10.0 - Pragmata
Apr 25, 2026

Playing Pragmata was one of the best video game experiences I've had in recent times. The story is engaging, the gameplay is fun, the scenarios are varied, the visuals – relying on the power of the RE Engine – are gorgeous, the soundtrack and sound effects are really cool, and there's plenty to discover and unlock. If that technical excellence wasn't enough, we're treated to super charismatic characters who interact and behave in a very believable way. It's fair to say that the dynamic between Hugh and Diana is the icing on the cake.

Alice in Wonder Underland AIWU is a curious and diverse experience of exploration with elements of horror. There's a fascinating hint of ingenuity in the variety of its worlds, keeping the player guessing what's coming and the dangers hidden in the places as they actually dive into the game's situations. Though some details of the experience may end up a little underdeveloped and the English translation has some small issues, it's worth diving in this creative work.

I would define Kingdom's Return as a very cozy game. It's very comfortable to play, its art style is very cute, and though its soundtrack isn't that emotional, its systems are simple. Players looking for something more relaxed to add to their libraries, and to play at their own pace, should definitely give it a try. But for those seeking a challenge, an exciting story, or perhaps a hidden gem, it might be better to look elsewhere.

My experience with Revelations in Celceta was generally satisfying from beginning to end, and I feel that, thanks to Revelations in Celceta, I feel more connected to the franchise than ever before. I hope that the rich and intriguing universe of Ys continues to captivate me with its new titles and occasional re-releases.

Pokémon Champions is a very solid game, taking the first step towards a new direction in which the official competition format has everything it needs to become even more popular. The title lowers the entry barrier, even if not as much as would be ideal. It fulfills its objective most of the time and has considerable potential to expand upon this solid foundation that has already been built.

8 / 10.0 - MotionRec
Apr 17, 2026

MotionRec is very straightforward, which, for me, is a good thing within the premise of being a puzzle game, but at the same time, from a video game perspective, I felt it lacked a bit more context, but nothing too detrimental.

Apr 16, 2026

I began this game simply focused on my stated objective: guide our ghost yandere and kill her crush within 7 weeks, thinking it would be like experiencing a yandere's mindset and perhaps finding some purpose in it. But by the end of the game, what I received was nothing like this premise suggests. Instead, I got a realistic, poetic, and somewhat philosophical vision about love and the purpose of life, along with an extremely bittersweet ending regarding the answer, at least for our protagonist.

7 / 10.0 - Trash Goblin
Apr 15, 2026

Even with a port that compromises the qualities of the game, the Switch version carries the best aspect of games of this type: portability. There's nothing better than doing some puzzles, cleaning some objects, and making a sale or two in between activities. Furthermore, the game manages to break away from the simulator mold, giving us more of a desire to perform handcrafted tasks than training us for an increasingly gamified job market.

If you want to try these games, I truly believe they are worth the investment — not only for those who want to replay them, whether because they've already played them on the DS or on emulators, but also for those who enjoy similar RPGs from that era of the Nintendo DS.

Beyond the story, the voice acting – which reunites the original Legacy of Kain team – and the localization for our language are highlights of Ascendance. However, the many problems present ended up overshadowing the franchise's return. While playing, I found myself frustratedly thinking: "I expected more," "the series deserved more." The story ends with a hook for a future sequel. Who knows, maybe they'll get it right in a next game?! Just don't make high bets, because you might lose your wings like Raziel.

Despite the significant technical evolution, it's extremely evident that Planet of Lana II is more of a step on a staircase than a floor in a building. After finishing the game, I have no doubt that, at the end of the trilogy, the current title will be seen more as a "Two Towers" than as an "Empire Strikes Back".

SHINONOME ABYSS The Maiden Exorcist doesn't make any serious mistakes; on the contrary: its foundation is solid, but it doesn't quite stand out as a spectacular game. It sells itself on its gameplay, since there's almost nothing about the story or characters besides the exorcist herself, about whom we know so little that I had to look up her name on the internet.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits does everything right: the game feels like it was developed by a team that cares about polishing and delivering the product, and that's really cool, something that can be felt in all the main elements of the game.

8 / 10.0 - Back to the Dawn
Apr 5, 2026

I recommend Back to the Dawn, provided that complex systems, difficulty, and replayability seem like something worth giving a chance to, because I know the game won't let you down in those aspects; but if large volumes of reading and high-pressure decisions all the time aren't your kind of engaging adventure, then we have more accessible options with far fewer barriers to entry and demand than Back to the Dawn in the hall of ambitious modern indie RPGs.
