Extremely Powerful Capybaras is a cheerful but sloppy Vampire Survivors clone. The colorful style and co-op are fun, but bugs, lack of depth, and a weak console port make this capybara adventure too light and flawed.

MindsEye is the embodiment of wasted potential—a game burdened by an identity crisis, plagued by poor launch performance, and set in a world that promises depth but delivers nothing, leaving even the most hopeful players disheartened, as no amount of patches can fix its shallow missions, monotonous gameplay, linear design, and uninspired story.

Greedfall 2: The Dying World shows potential with its beautiful world and fresh perspective, but is currently a disaster due to a weak story, emotionless characters, poor combat, numerous bugs, and technical issues that Spiders must address during Early Access.

There’s little positive to say about Stormgate; it lacks identity, creativity, and feels like an alpha product even in Early Access.

Bubsy 4D is a game where you can switch off your brain for a bit of simple platforming action, but that's about it.

EA and PopCap had the perfect chance to let Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted bloom, yet what we got feels more like a neglected garden. The timeless strategy gameplay still holds up, and the game overflows with content, but odd design choices ruin the experience. With worse graphics, missing dynamic music, and a confused interface, this port strips away the soul of the original. Replanted is a reminder that the old Plants vs. Zombies (GOTY Edition) offers far more life for far less money.

Double Dragon Revive tries to recapture the arcade glory days but stumbles with thin presentation, repetitive gameplay, and half-baked features—yet if you once blew your allowance on beat-’em-ups, there’s still a few hours of fun to be had, though you’re better off spending your cash on more polished throwbacks like Streets of Rage 4 or TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge.

If Bye Sweet Carole has one thing going for it, it's absolutely going to be the classic 80's Disney vibe that guarantees some beautiful cutscenes. Unfortunately, that's where the fairytale ends for Little Sewing Machine's horror-esque puzzle platformer, in which frustrating controls, progress limiting bugs and poor audio dampen the overall experience to the point where you might lose interest before the clock strikes twelve. A lot of these issues are fortunately solvable, but for now, Bye Sweet Carole is a rabbit hole I'd rather avoid.

Dreams of Another dazzles with its concept and stunning point-cloud visuals, but the shallow gameplay and atrocious voice acting snap you right out of the dream. It’s a bold idea let down by clumsy execution.

Hunter × Hunter: Nen × Impact shows glimmers of potential with its unique character mechanics, but its shallow content, small roster, and brief story mode leave it far behind genre heavyweights - making it a modest pick for diehard fans, but a hard pass for fighting game enthusiasts.

Commando: Origins was meant to mark the grand return of the franchise, but with a lack of cohesive story, limited freedom, numerous bugs, and poor optimization overshadowing its nostalgic and varied missions, it’s best to wait for a few patches before diving in.

If you hold fond memories of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles, the 2025 version might feel more like a lazy rerelease than a remaster, with minimal changes beyond slightly smoother gameplay, some extra characters, and couch co-op—leaving the same dated graphics, frustrating gameplay, and a sense that little effort was made, albeit at a modest price of twenty euros.

Critter Café is charming and smooth with simple controls, but its potential is squandered by repetitive gameplay, limited activities, and simplistic dialogue, leaving the Critters—meant to be the stars—underutilized in a shallow experience.

Planet Coaster 2 introduces welcome features like pools, water rides, and improved tools, but falls short in key areas, with interface issues, lackluster management mechanics, limited content, and performance problems that make the game feel incomplete; while there are charming moments for diehard fans, as a full-priced theme park simulation, it ultimately disappoints and feels more like an unfinished Early Access title.

As a Dragon Age fan, you're better off avoiding Dragon Age: The Veilguard—the once-dark fantasy world has been transformed into a Disney-like fairytale with childish, shallow dialogue, limited and inconsequential choices that restrict you to being nice, and a linear storyline that disregards the deep lore, impactful choices, and character-driven narratives the series is known for. Enemy design is laughable, side missions are shallow, puzzles are overly simple, and while the flashy combat is fun, it feels out of place, lacking strategic depth, making it painful to accept that this beloved franchise may meet its end in 2024.

Unknown 9: Awakening is a game full of lost potential, with a unique and promising story that’s poorly executed, leading to a disconnect with the world and characters, clunky controls, repetitive animations, lackluster combat, underwhelming enemy AI, and limited exploration, making it hard to recommend in its current state.

Broken Roads starts strong with its fantastic Australian setting and intriguing moral system, but ultimately falters due to a lack of clear story, impactful choices, and engaging combat, leaving it still short of the experience it could be.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince features an intriguing medieval setting and turn-based tactical gameplay with significant potential. The various classes and unique abilities add depth, and the concept of a castle as a central hub is a logical choice with plenty of possibilities. Unfortunately, the experience is hindered by clunky graphics and animations, mediocre voice-overs, and an artificially high difficulty level. Balance issues and excessive use of timers make the game more tiring and frustrating than challenging and enjoyable. Overall, the game currently feels more like a mobile game port than a fully-fledged tactical RPG.
